Traditional Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training in India

Our 200 hours Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training is designed for students who wish to deepen their personal practice and gain a strong foundation in traditional Ashtanga Yoga.

This training combines disciplined daily practice, traditional teaching methods, alignment study, hands-on adjustments, philosophy, and mindful living. The course is suitable for both aspiring yoga teachers and dedicated practitioners seeking deeper understanding of yoga beyond physical postures.

What You Will Learn

Traditional Ashtanga Yoga Practice

Students will learn the traditional structure and method of Ashtanga Yoga, including:

  • Surya Namaskara
  • Standing postures
  • Seated postures
  • Finishing sequence
  • Mysore-style self-practice
  • Led Ashtanga classes
  • Breath and movement synchronization (Vinyasa)
  • Drishti and concentration

Alignment, Adjustments & Corrections

One of the main focuses of this training is learning safe and effective hands-on adjustments and posture corrections.

Students will learn:

  • Traditional adjustment techniques
  • Proper body alignment in each posture
  • Safe correction methods for different students
  • Modifications and accommodations for all levels
  • Injury awareness and prevention

Yoga Alliance Certification

Upon successful completion of the training, students will receive a 200-Hour Yoga Alliance Certification, allowing them to register as a certified yoga teacher internationally.

08:30 – 10:00: Breakfast & Rest

10:00 – 12:00: Theory / Philosophy / Anatomy

12:00 – 14:00: Lunch Break & Free Time

14:00 – 16:00: Alignment / Teaching Practice

16:00 – 17:00: Tea Break

17:00 – 18:30: Workshop / Meditation / Pranayama

19:00: Dinner
